How The 1% Store Their Beauty Treasures

Closets, bathrooms, and storage units tend to attract clutter. Unless they belong to celebrities with moderate-to-severe beauty-product addictions. Then, they attract pure envy.

Just think of all the makeup, skin-care products, wigs, fragrances, and candles that stars like Kylie Jenner and Beyoncé own. You know they're not stashing all of those goodies in boxes underneath the California king in the guest bedroom (though, that would be some lucky guest). These women have devoted entire sections of their homes to displaying their beauty treasures. And who can blame them? If you had star power and loads of disposable cash, wouldn't you want a showroom for your swag?

Ahead, nine celebs who take at-home beauty to a living-large level. Can we come over?

Selfie Station
Kylie Jenner has a bathroom (multiple, no doubt). She also has a walk-in closet (lucky girl). But neither of these places are where she actually gets ready — this ritual is reserved for the "Glam Room."

The beauty oasis — which she unveiled in a video tour on TheKylieJenner.com— holds her enviable makeup and wig collections, wall-to-wall mirrors, a sink that glows when you turn it on, and (somehow, not surprisingly), a selfie station. What's a selfie station, you ask? Oh, just a little place with a mirror surrounded by light where you can set your iPhone on a tripod and take the perfect post-makeup selfie, of course. "This is my favorite light, ever. You can put the timer on, really set it up, and take your selfie," explains Jenner. "It's the shit."

Kopy Kat
Kylie admits that she was not the mastermind behind the Glam Room concept — she was inspired by big sis Khloé's beauty boudoir. "I just wanted to copy her because she has good ideas. Okay, Khloé…I get it," Jenner confesses in her video tour. More strategically, there's a mirror on every wall so these ladies can see themselves from every possible angle.

Scent Stockpile
I'm pretty proud of my fragrance collection — which is outgrowing the vintage tray that I bought to display it on. I thought, Gee, maybe I'm overdoing it. But then, I saw Donatella Versace (who also may have a tendency to overdo things) post her fragrance collection on Instagram, and I realized that even with my beauty-editor blessings, I'm a minor-league player in the fragrance-hoarding game. The designer shows hers, not on a tray, or two trays, or three, but in a gorgeous armoire that takes up an entire wall in her bathroom.

Fine Bathing
Mariah Carey
is famous for a lot of reasons: that Christmas song everybody loves, the whole being the best-selling female artist of the '90s thing, AND for having the best episode of Cribs that ever aired. In 2002, Carey let us into her home, and, more importantly, into her bathroom (check it out at the five-minute mark). The place could be mistaken for a piece of Versailles.

The room boasts a major crystal chandelier, sofa chairs, and a flat-screen TV (epic for the time) — in case anyone wants to drop in while she's in the bath. And why not? There's a designer towel handy.

Burning Beauty
Mariah, Christina Aguilera will see your bathroom chandelier and raise you a fireplace. While some of us look forward to the day when we can unwind in front of a fireplace in our living room, Xtina has one in her freaking bathroom. Just when you thought a nice long bath couldn't get any more relaxing…

Wigging Out
Way before Kylie became king of the hair change, Katy Perry was constantly switching things up (and continues to do so). Though she's been on a long-hair trip as of late, there was a time when a short Kris Jenner-esque style was more her thing. But she never actually chopped off her locks. Instead, she went the wig route. And, if you're Katy Perry, that means getting your hands on a short shag wig in every color of the rainbow and storing them in your own closet reserved just for wigs.

Hair Locker
Katy Perry isn't the only one with a wig closet. Beyoncé's got one, too, obvi. In a rare interview with Flaunt Magazine, Queen Bey played a word association game in which she was given, "overpopulated." Cheekily, she responded with, "my hair closet." Now, if only she would follow in Katy Perry's footsteps and post an Instagram pic, so we could all see those crowns of glory.

En Suite Salon
House calls are par for the course when you're a celeb. Why go through the trouble of walking out a door when manicurists, facialists, massage therapists, makeup artists, hairstylists, et al come to you? Taraji P. Henson takes this idea to a glorious extreme by just installing a whole freaking salon in her house. In her version of the Glam Room, the actress has a stunning vanity, mass of mirrors, and salon chair poised for a blowout at a minute's notice. Now, that's a beauty empire.

Spa Days
When life gives you lemons, make a citrus soak. After her split from Brad Pitt, Jennifer Aniston converted the "his" half of the "his and her" baths into a spa bath with a soaking tub. Way better than lemonade.
